The 21st Annual Sippican School
BAND BLAST
*June TBA, 2023 - 5:00 to 8:00
* We will know the date when we know when the last day of school is. We have the BLAST on the PENULTIMATE day of our school year.
It all happens on the Sippican School Front Lawn.
This is the fundraiser for all our music programs at Sippican School. Dollars raised pay for Music Festival fees and transportation, 'Music in the Mountains' transportation, equipment purchase, repair and replacement, reed purchase and scholarship funds. The band members are the hosts, and our generous band families make it a success.
HOW BAND FAMILIES CAN HELP - Be creative! We love new ideas! The following are some tried and true pieces of the BLAST, but we welcome new efforts!
1) RAFFLE – Four PREMIER Red Sox Tickets, donated by American Management. Tickets are $2 each. Every Band family is asked to sell 10 tickets. Send the stubs and money to Mrs. Moore with your child, or bring them to the ticket booth at the Band Blast. If you would like more tickets to sell, contact Hannah Moore. 2)GAMES – Helpers are needed to run the many games we offer. Sign up to cover a shift. We also need creative people to come up with new and better games every year. 3)WATER SLIDE – People are needed to watch over the slide – quick training is provided. 4)FOOD – We need people to sell SLUSHIES, COTTON CANDY, PIZZA and to help with the GRILL. 5) Dunk Tank workers are key: it needs to be safe and happy. The dunk tank is HUGELY popular!
I will be reaching out to all band families for help in May.
We always remind parents that they are responsible for their children during the entire BAND BLAST.
